Today, we’re going to talk about a movie called “All I See Is You.” Gina, who was blinded in childhood due to an accident, lives in Bangkok with her husband, James, an insurance agent. Despite her blindness, they have a happy marriage. Recently, they’ve been trying to have a child and also hold onto hope for Gina’s vision restoration. They visit Dr. Hughes for an examination, who informs them that he can perform an operation on Gina’s right eye to partially restore her vision. This would involve a cornea transplant, iris reconstruction, and implant lens insulation, resulting in about a 40 to 50 percent restoration of her vision in a month. They schedule the operation and return home.
Regina prepares for a talent show with Lucy, their neighbor’s daughter. While at the pool, Gina encounters a man named Daniel, whom she meets daily but has never seen due to her blindness. Her friend Karen jokingly remarks that if Gina wasn’t blind, she could appreciate the guy’s attractive physique. Karen notices Gina bleeding, which leads to an uncomfortable situation. Outside the building, Gina meets a distressed Lucy, who reveals that her mother wants to give away their dog, Ginger because they’re expecting a baby. Gina decides to rescue the dog herself.
Later, James realizes that his wife is upset and knows it’s because they haven’t been able to conceive. To cheer her up, he invites her for a walk that leads them to a disco club. While dancing, James makes an insensitive comment about dancers looking foolish, adding that if Gina could see, she would agree. These words deeply hurt Gina, prompting her to leave, but James catches up and apologizes. Back home, they receive a call from Dr. Hughes, informing them of a free slot for the operation.
On the appointed day, James accompanies Gina to the operating room. While under anesthesia, Gina dreams of a car accident involving her parents and sister. When she regains consciousness, she discovers that the operation was successful, and she starts to slowly regain her sight. During lunch at the hospital, Gina confesses to James that she hasn’t seen herself in the mirror yet, and she also imagines James differently. James reassures her that she is beautiful and admits he may not be as handsome as she thought. This exchange brings a smile to Gina’s face, and she realizes that he is even more attractive than she imagined.
At night, Gina decides to look at herself in the mirror and admire the night view of Bangkok from their balcony.
The next day, Dr. Hughes provides Gina with different types of eye drops, and she is now able to go home. In the taxi, Gina is amazed by the brightness of everything around her and expresses her desire to see even more colors. James takes her to the flower market, where she spends a long time enjoying the vibrant view. However, things at their apartment are not as Gina expected, and she confesses that she had created a false scene in her mind, thinking she knew everything. Now, she realizes that she knew nothing.
To make his wife happy, James surprises her with tickets to the south of Spain, to the same hotel and room where they spent their honeymoon. He also mentions that after their time in the south, they will visit Gina’s sister, Charlie, in Barcelona. They make love, but James unexpectedly stops and goes to the clinic to provide a sperm sample for testing.
At the airport, Gina asks James to buy her a mini camera. As they arrive in Spain and settle into their hotel, Gina informs him that they were given the wrong room. She recalls that their honeymoon room was different. Gina begins to show more independence in other matters as well. For instance, she refuses to sit in a double boat during a boat ride and asks for two separate ones. She confidently paddles ahead of her husband.
In the evening at the bar, James becomes jealous when he sees Gina engaging in a friendly conversation with a guy named Norman. Upon returning, Gina explains that Norman and his wife are on their honeymoon too. They witness Norman and his wife making love in front of the hotel’s panoramic windows, which inspires Gina. She decides to experiment.
On the train, Gina blindfolds James, ties him to the bed, and starts recording with the camera. She begins to ask him frank questions, admitting that during their intimate moments, she often fantasizes about other men. James starts feeling foolish and nervous in response, requesting to be untied. In Barcelona, they are greeted by Carla, Gina’s sister, and her husband, Raymond, along with their son, Luke. During dinner, Raymond inappropriately asks when the couple plans to have children, causing discomfort. He also jokes that Gina now has men around her and might find them more sympathetic, teasing James.
After dinner, Carla and Gina prepare for an evening walk. When James sees his wife wearing makeup and a revealing dress, he pretends to be pleasantly surprised, though he feels slightly confused. At the bar, everyone is watching a football match, and Raymond suggests that James’ job as an insurance agent must be dull. Raymond invites them all to a strip show, which excites the tipsy women. James, however, shows no interest and allows Gina to go with Carla and Raymond, jokingly advising Gina to teach her boring husband what she has seen.
On their way, an unfamiliar man makes inappropriate advances towards Gina. She reacts aggressively and curses at him, while James tries to calm her down and understand the situation. Unfortunately, he ends up getting punched by the stranger. Raymond immediately steps in, fights off the aggressor, and protects James.
Gina expresses her frustration with James’ behavior, shouting that anyone can approach and touch her because it doesn’t matter to her husband. At home, James asks why she humiliated him in front of their relatives, but Gina responds by stating that he has humiliated himself. They try to sleep, but they are disturbed by the moans of Carla and Raymond, their neighbors.
When they return to Thailand, Gina notices for the first time that their windows directly face the neighbors’ windows. She asks James to move to another house, but he refuses, claiming that they feel good there. James attempts to seduce Gina, but she redirects the conversation and starts discarding old, unattractive clothes.
One night, James finds a video on Gina’s tablet that was recorded on the train. He recalls her words about fantasizing about other men and notices that at that moment, Gina didn’t even look at him, her expression completely impassive. He then looks into the bedroom at his sleeping wife and contemplates the bottle of drops.
The next day, James learns from the doctor that he cannot father children based on the test results. While on a walk with Lucy and Ginger, Gina encounters Daniel, the same guy from the pool. Daniel is surprised that Gina can see him now and invites her for a cup of coffee, but she refuses. Gina returns home as a blonde and announces that she will go to see a house that she likes.
In the evening, James asks Gina to wear something more modest so that others won’t stare at her. Gina asks if he loved her more when she was blind, to which James responds with a similar question.
The next day, Gina visits the house she likes and finds it perfect. Later, while rehearsing a song for a talent show with Lucy, her operated eye starts watering. Gina informs her husband about the pain and excessive tearing. Dr. Hughes explains that she has a minor infection and prescribes an additional dose of steroid drops.
The following day, Gina realizes that her vision is rapidly deteriorating. Dr. Hughes reassures her that the operation was successful and asks if she is using the steroid drops correctly. Gina expresses doubts about the drops and requests to have their contents checked. The doctor agrees to send them for analysis and provides Gina with new bottles of the same drops.
In the evening, the couple prepares to attend a party, but James is in a rush. Gina screams that she can hardly see anything again. James tries to comfort her, hugging her and reminding her that they were happy before.
During a walk, their dog feels unwell from the heat, and Daniel, who happens to be nearby, offers to take the dog to his house to give her some water. Suddenly, Daniel kisses Gina, and she finds herself unable to stop him. Meanwhile, James, looking at the house Gina likes, tells the realtor to purchase it.
The next day, the doctor informs Gina over the phone that the drops she had been using contained only water instead of the prescribed medicine. When she returns home, Gina discovers that their apartment has been burglarized and Ginger is missing. She calls her husband and goes to the park to search for the dog, where she unexpectedly meets Daniel. James arrives at the park and becomes jealous upon seeing them together. On their way home, James reveals that he recognizes Daniel from the pool incident.
The following day, Gina decides to avoid any further interaction with Daniel at the pool and leaves in a hurry. One evening, unaware that her husband is infertile, Gina tells James that she is pregnant. Although James understands the truth, he keeps it to himself. Several months later, they move into their new house. By this time, Gina has become completely blind again and relies heavily on James for assistance.
James enthusiastically supports Gina as they prepare for a concert she and Lucy have been working on. However, Gina’s mother will be attending the concert instead of James. Although James is about to leave, he hesitates and checks if Gina can see anything. Gina approaches the edge of the stairs, seemingly looking straight at James, who stands there before leaving. Unbeknownst to him, Gina watches him through the window before going to unpack.
While unpacking, Gina discovers a letter written by a child claiming to have found her dog. James, on the other hand, goes to their former apartment and finds empty bottles of the prescribed drops. He realizes that Gina had secretly been treating her eyes for his sake all this time. He rushes back home and finds the letter with a photo of Ginger on the table. The letter reveals that the child had seen a man leave the dog tied to a fence, but he kept her because he loved her and didn’t want her taken away. James arrives at the talent show.
He sees Gina looking directly into his eyes as she sings a song she had practiced with Lucy, which turns out to be dedicated to him. Gina sings a duet expressing her joy for many things in her life, but above all, she is happiest because she only sees him. Suddenly, she begins singing a solo, bidding him farewell and acknowledging that they will only be together in their dreams. Overwhelmed by remorse for his possessiveness and secrecy, James hastily leaves the hall.
Back at home, Gina finds the letters she had read and removes her engagement ring. Simultaneously, James, in tears, rushes along a tunnel toward an oncoming truck, reminiscent of the accident that once involved the Genesis family. Sometime later, Gina and her newborn child see each other for the first time. The movie concludes here.
